Unto us a Child is Born (On Princess Charlotte)

The way, the truth and the life!
The way, the truth and the life!

I pray the beautiful Princess Charlotte will be a blessing to her parents and to us as a nation. That the Lord lay hold upon her even now and from this time forth. That she grow to be a godly woman, a pure example of womanhood, of real kindness and love. That before her, her own parents would be such an example to her. The birth of a child is a great blessing to any set of parents, or should be. The birth of an important child is, I guess, is of even greater significance. A royal child, is a wonderful child, for many, a cause of great celebration. There was of course, back in the day, such a royal, a wonder child born (Isaiah 9:7). He was a promise not just to one nation but all the nations. To those in darkness, a light, the light of the world. He was born with a princely rule upon his shoulders, to govern all the nations, a wonder of a counsellor. The warrior God, who fights for his people against all their enemies (Isaiah 10:21). His reign surpasses all royalty that ever there was and shall be, it is limitless, perpetual. He secures and sustains the throne of David, and rules in judgment and righteousness, now, and forever. Of this we are assured, because the passionate commitment of the Lord of hosts shall perform this. We are in safe hands today, all who trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Holy Scripture, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because a Child has been born unto us, no, not a princess, but a Prince and a Saviour, His name is Jesus! And he shall save his people from their sins!
