Great God of Abram, Jacob too,
The God Who reigns supreme;
The God to Whom our worship’s due,
Our God and sovereign.
Great God of Isaac, Israel,
The Faithful cov’nant Lord;
Who was, and is, and is to come,
Our never-changing God.
Great God of ancient days revealed,
By wonders saved Your folk;
Opened the sea, Yourself them led,
Your word shall ne’er revoke.
Great God of Prophet and of Seer,
In dreams and visions spoke;
Messiah’s sufferings they did see,
Redemption in the make.
Great God the same today as then,
Whose promise stands as firm;
For all who on Messiah lean,
Shall Your salvation learn.
Great God of sovereign, saving grace,
Salvation from the Jews;
Your likeness seen in Jesus’ face,
For all indeed good news.
